MTEK Industry AB appoints Johannes Lind-Widestam, an experienced growth executive, within manufacturing as new Chairman of the Board
The Board of Directors of MTEK Industry AB has appointed Johannes Lind-Widestam, currently CEO of NOTE AB, a leading Electronics Contract Manufacturer (EMS) headquartered in Sweden and with an international platform for manufacturing electronics-based products that require high technology competence and flexibility, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
“I am very pleased to bring Johannes to the Board of Directors and the wider team at MTEK. Johannes brings a wealth of experience from a number of key verticals in discrete manufacturing, across medtech, industrials as well as emerging industries such as Greentech, and I have enormous respect for his deep knowledge in the field, and as a builder of companies.
Furthermore, Johannes’ international background, growth execution track-record and relentless customer focus will be an asset to our organization as we scale operations globally”, says Mattias Andersson, CEO and Founder of MTEK Industry AB.
Johannes Lind-Widestam joins MTEK at an interesting time in the company’s growth journey. MTEK has an installed base across Asia, Africa, Europa, Latin- and North America and its manufacturing orchestration platform, MBrain, is quickly being established as the software system of choice for manufacturers who are building manufacturing set-ups for the future.
“I am delighted to take on the role as Chairman of MTEK in this new phase of their journey – and to help drive the company towards long term growth and profitability. I have followed the company for a long time and have been impressed with the product, the vision and the team’s ability to execute.”, says Johannes Lind-Widestam.
“MTEK’s software platform, MBrain, embodies the core characteristics for any manufacturing operation to become, and stay, competitive. Manufacturers who are able to be more flexible, while maintaining superior process and quality control will always be able to execute faster and respond faster to customer and other needs – and that is what creates a competitive advantage.
Furthermore, MTEK has been able to design a product design that caters to enterprise grade complexity, but with a time-to-value that is only a fraction of what competitors offer. This positions MTEK in a very interesting way in a fast-growing market where there is a very clear need globally to be able to be more flexible and move faster – without having to sacrifice control and quality”. Johannes adds.
MTEK is a global leader in manufacturing operations software. Its MBrian Manufacturing Operations Platform is likely the world’s only no-code system, which delivers unparalleled flexibility, control and speed in manufacturing operations – with the aim of giving its customers a competitive edge in manufacturing. Launched in 2020, MBrain is in use with customers across North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
