SpinChem has entered a new partnership with South Korea-based ChemiSky to accelerate the transition from lab results to decision‑grade pilots in industrial liquid-phase synthesis, purification and bioprocessing.

The partnership will help industrial teams move faster from development to scale by improving throughput, product quality, and process reliability, while reducing waste and energy use. The collaboration is enabled by SpinChem’s rotating bed reactor (RBR) technology and supported by ChemiSky’s strong local presence in process engineering and pilot systems.

South Korea is a fast-growing, performance-driven market for industrial processing, with its pharmaceutical sector projected to reach USD 54 billion by 2032. Together, SpinChem and ChemiSky will focus on applications where performance can be validated quickly through measurable proof-of-concept studies and pilot projects, and where operational reliability delivers immediate value.

Key focus areas include:

  • Pharma and fine chemicals process development (faster screening, improved impurity control, higher throughput)
  • Circular bioeconomy and biorefinery applications (scalable purification with lower resource use)
  • Advanced materials and manufacturing chemistry (robust, repeatable processing and solids-handling stability)

SpinChem's RBR technology provides an advantage
“Industrial teams are under pressure to increase throughput and deliver consistent quality while reducing complexity and waste. South Korea is a fast-moving market, and ChemiSky strengthens our ability to support customers locally at that pace,” said Dr. Emil Byström, CEO of SpinChem.

“South Korea’s pharma and bioprocess sectors are scaling rapidly. The winners will be the teams that can move reliably from lab results to decision-grade proof. SpinChem’s RBR technology provides that advantage,” said Jeff Lee, CEO of ChemiSky.
