Hasselblad 907X & CFV 100C offers a Trifecta of Imaging Possibilities

Hasselblad 907X & CFV 100C
offers a Trifecta of Imaging Possibilities

The Transcontinenta Group is proud to introduce the new Hasselblad 907X & CFV 100C as the distributor for Hasselblad in the Benelux. It combines iconic design with exquisite craftsmanship. This fusion of modular design and advanced technologies offers three distinctly different photographic possibilities and represents Hasselblad's most compatible 100 megapixel medium format camera to date.

Thanks to its vintage body and deep heritage, the 907X & CFV 100C can reconcile film and digital photography, integrating the classic with the contemporary - neither cutting ties with the future nor saying goodbye to the past. In keeping with the unique waist-level shooting style of Hasselblad film cameras, the 907X & CFV 100C has a touchscreen that can be tilted upwards to 40° and 90°. The 40° tilt allows a lower viewing perspective for your composition. The 90° tilt brings the classic waist-level shooting style back to life. These unparalleled perspectives let you get on with the creative flow.

One Camera, Three Applications, Endless Inspiration

When combined with the new CFV 100C medium format digital back, the Hasselblad 907X medium format camera body weighs just 620 grams. This is a 120g reduction on its predecessor and represents an ideal balance between lightness and quality.

The modular design, inherited from the classic 1948 design, has been the stuff of legend for generations of medium format cameras. Today, it takes the Hasselblad 907X & CFV 100C to new heights as Hasselblad's most compatible medium format camera, pioneering the era of iterations. The CFV 100C detachable digital back integrates three types of photographic configurations in one:

Hasselblad 907X Camera Body
When the CFV 100C is attached to its custom-made 907X camera body, it can be flexibly coupled with a range of high-performance Hasselblad bXCD Series lenses. It can also be used with HC/HCD, V and XPAN series lenses via lens adapters to showcase Hasselblad's long optical heritage in all its glory and expand the realm of creativity.

Hasselblad V System Film Cameras
The CFV 100C supports integration with the Hasselblad V System 500 Series, 200 Series and other classic film cameras.2 This integration allows these film camera bodies to capture digital images, bringing these classics to life before your eyes.

Technical Cameras
The CFV 100C can be paired with technical cameras to capture high precision images.

Capturing Stunning Images

The CFV 100C uses a 100-megapixel medium-format, back-illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor to deliver unparalleled image quality. With 15 stops of dynamic range, more detail can be retained in highlights and shadows. A native ISO range of as low as 64 ensures delicate, pure and transparent image quality. More than 281 trillion colours are reproduced with 16-bit colour depth for natural, smooth gradations that bring vast landscapes to life. Even if an initial composition is less than ideal, post-production cropping retains a wealth of detail, effectively immortalizing every beautiful moment.

The Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) optimizes colours to appear authentic and natural with smoother and more delicate transitions, perfectly recreating the colourful world as seen by the human eye at the press of the shutter. When the CFV 100C digital back is paired with classic film cameras such as the 500 series, 200 series and beyond of the Hasselblad V system, HNCS also faithfully reproduces the unique charm of each film camera lens. It transcends time and space to recreate the glory of the era of film photography.

Fast Focusing and internal storage

The Hasselblad 907X & CFV 100C is equipped with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), which sharply delineates the scene and provides an agile focusing experience. With 294 PDAF zones spread across the 100 megapixel sensor area, focusing speed has increased by approximately 300% compared to the previous generation. In addition, a new Face Detection function makes portrait shooting more efficient and convenient, helping to frame every story perfectly.

The 907X & CFV 100C features now a built-in 1 TB SSD with write speeds of up to 2370 MB/s and read speeds of up to 2850 MB/s. The CFexpress Type B card slot allows for storage expansion and backup on location.
