Tioex Makes Landmark Investment in SpaceX – Expands into the US Market

Stockholm, January 16th 2024 – Tioex, a leading Swedish investment company, announces a groundbreaking secondary investment of one million USD in SpaceX, the pioneering aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company founded by Elon Musk. Tioex has previously invested in private tech companies such as Klarna, Einride, Instabee, Cake, Doktor.se and Exeger, with the goal of lowering the threshold for smaller investors to buy into private pre-IPO companies. The investment in SpaceX marks Tioex's entry into the US market, positioning the company as one of the first European investors in the company.

Tioex in the US: Opening Doors to Pre-IPO Opportunities
With the investment in SpaceX, Tioex enters the US market, heralding access to the world's largest pre-IPO market, with some of the most exciting private companies.

During 2023, the strategy has been to increase the positions in exceptional companies during the downturn. Tioex successfully entered 15 compelling investments including new companies such as Instabee, A3P Biomedical and Cake.
