Kazakhstan Diplomatic Update
This press release presents an overview on the latest significant events in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
1) Kazakhstan – EU: Joint statement by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy – Vice President of the European Commission Josep Borrell on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
2) Kazakhstan launches a new Astana International Forum to address key global challenges
The Forum will be held under the aegis of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on 8–9 June 2023, in Astana. It will serve as a platform for eminent delegates from governments, international organizations, business, and academia, to engage in a dialogue to seek ways to address climate, food scarcity and energy security challenges.
3) Declaration of VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions
Declaration was adopted by the majority of delegates of the VII Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions and is being transmitted to the authorities, political leaders and religious figures around the world, relevant regional and international organizations, civil society organizations, religious associations and leading experts. It will also be distributed as an official document of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly.
