New ultra-fast RAID disk from OWC
OWC_Thunderblade_X8OWC releases the world’s fastest shuttle and edit RAID SSD. OWC's ThunderBlade disk has long been the favourite of many professional filmmakers when it comes to RAID SSD discs, now they make it even faster with the new ThunderBlade X8.
The new OWC ThunderBlade X8 is the ultimate storage solution for demanding video workflows either while on location or in your studio. It comes in a slim and rugged package with a heat-dissipating fanless aluminium chassis that keeps you working silently at top speed. It is 16.7% faster than its predecessor with read speeds of up to 2949MB/s1 (RAID 0) and can store up to eight NVMe M.2 SSDs up to 32TB. The new disk comes with OWC´s Easy RAID software that makes it easy to create, monitor, and manage advanced RAID sets and can be connected via daisy-chain with up to five additional Thunderbolt devices or connect a USB-C device or display via the second Thunderbolt port.
