Denmark's largest agricultural fair, Agromek, is taking place in the city of Herning from November 26-29. On the first day of the fair, the Väderstad Proceed V 24 was awarded the Agromek Award. The jury notes that the precise seed placement of the Proceed sets a new standard.
- First and foremost, I would like to thank Agromek for the award. At Väderstad, we work every day to improve and develop our machines so that what we do tomorrow is better than what we do today or did yesterday. Proceed is a great example of equipment that will benefit farmers in the future. At Väderstad, we are proud and very grateful for the recognition we receive in the form of this award, says Asger Jørgensen, Sales Manager for Väderstad Denmark.
Here is the jury's motivation:
"The committee emphasizes that the Väderstad Proceed precision seed does not place any special demands on the quality of the seed and that it can achieve more uniform plants and thus a more uniform grain quality. The seed drill has great versatility and can plant corn, beets, rapeseed, cereals, and more. It can place the seed at the correct depth regardless of soil type and cultivation system. The great versatility of the precision seed drill makes it usable for many crops and thus for sowing many hectares."
The precision seed drill Proceed V 24 is available with 24 row units and a working width of 6 meters. The precision seed drill Proceed V can place each grain seed at the perfect seeding depth with millimetre precision. The result is a significant improvement in yield potential, while the amount of seed can be drastically reduced.
The Proceed V 24 has been available for sale since October 2024, with the first series-produced machines in the field by spring 2025.
