The well-known John Deere dealer GroeNoord B.V. is bankrupt. The contents of GroeNoord - including tractors, agricultural and garden and park machinery, parts, workshop and office inventory - will be offered in several online auctions through Troostwijk Auctions, which will be shown on this GroeNoord auction page as soon as they start. The first auctions will open on Friday, April 11, 2025.
For many years, GroeNoord B.V. was a well-known name in the northeastern Netherlands as an official dealer of John Deere. With as many as 19 branches, the company provided sales, service and parts supply of tractors and agricultural machinery for a wide customer base.
Due to bankruptcy contents in online auction
In February 2025, GroeNoord was declared bankrupt at its own request. The causes included rising ICT costs, rising interest and personnel costs, and declining margins in the sector.
In the weeks following the bankruptcy, a search for a (partial) restart was carried out; this has not yet proved feasible. It was therefore decided to auction off the contents of GroeNoord per branch online through Troostwijk Auctions.
“GroeNoord was a major player in the market, with an impressive inventory of machines and parts,” said Sjoerd Baars, insolvency coordinator at Troostwijk Auctions. “We therefore expect a lot of international interest in these auctions.”

About the auction
The online auctions of GroeNoord B.V.'s machinery and business inventory will be offered via the Troostwijk Auctions platform from April to June 2025. One or more auctions will be organised per branch.
The auction of the GroeNoord B.V. locations in Goor and Hengelo have been open for bids since today. Bidding is possible until Wednesday 23 April 2025 (Hengelo) and until Thursday 24 April 2025 (Goor).
