Samyang launches Remaster Slim, a unique modular lens system for Sony FE

The Transcontinenta Group, distributor for Samyang in the Benelux, is proud to announce the launch of the Samyang Remaster Slim lens kit, which is a rare and unique lens system. It allows its users to switch between three focal lengths (21mm/28mm/32mm) using just one AF-module mounted to the camera. 

Remaster Slim is inspired by a homage to the P&S film camera. It reinterprets the point-and-shoot concept with modern technology, creating a unique modular lens that allows users to switch focal lengths easily. Incredibly compact and lightweight, this lens offers three focal lengths—21mm, 28mm, and 32mm—that can be quickly and securely attached using a magnetic bayonet mount. It’s perfect for capturing everyday snapshots, landscapes, or street scenes with creativity anytime and anywhere.

Modern Technology with Classic Charm

The unique modular design perfectly balances creativity and utility. With three interchangeable focal lengths (21mm F3.5, 28mm F3.5, and 32mm F2.8) packed into a single module, this lens offers ultimate versatility. It supports full-frame mirrorless cameras in Sony E mount, delivering impressive image quality throughout the frame. Additionally, depending on the type and intensity of the light source, a soft glow effect appears at the edges of the subject, softening skin tones and adding a poetic feel to the photos. These features help photographers maximize the artistic value and emotion they express. When shooting in APS-C mode the crop( 31.5mm, 42mm and 48mm) offers a more standard focal length rather than wide, ensuring a great all-rounder for everyday snapshots, portraits, or really any type of photography.

  The AF/MF switch on the RS AF Module allows you to quickly toggle between focus modes depending on the situation. It also features a small focusing ring for precise accuracy. A standard 49mm filters can be attached to the module, enabling you to add creative effects or optimize your images according to shooting conditions. Additionally, the USB-C port directly on the module offers an easy means to apply firmware updates without any additional accessories, ensuring your lens stays up to date with the latest features and improvements.

  The lens delivers exceptional close-up performance across all focal lengths. The Samyang Remaster Slim lens kit with the AF module, three focal lengths (21mm, 28mm and 32mm) in and sturdy hard carrying case, will soon be available at Samyang retailers in the Benelux. The recommended retail price for the entire kit is €419.00 including VAT.
