The Transcontinenta Group, distributor for hähnel in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands, announces the successor of the popular ProCube2 Twin Charger: the hähnel ProCube3. 

It is no secret that ProCube2 has always been the best-selling charger from hähnel. The ProCube is a powerful charger which can charge two camera batteries at once. What's more, ProCube can charge 4 AA batteries as well as USB devices such as smartphones, headphones, and tablets. With new regulations for USB-C charging on the horizon, hähnel has decided to give the ProCube an update, resulting in the ProCube3!

What's new in the ProCube3?

The hähnel ProCube3 retains the winning features of its predecessor. The charger is equipped with a high-end LCD that displays valuable information such as estimated battery percentage and added capacity in mAh during the current charge cycle. It also features intelligent IC fast charge control, allowing 2 batteries to be charged in the same time as a single battery. It also has a USB-A output for charging USB devices and interchangeable wireless battery plates to suit different types of camera batteries. ProCube3 can charge both original camera batteries and third party batteries.

Unique features:

• Faster charging: ProCube3 will charge 2 batteries in the same time as a single battery
• The ProCube3 has a USB Type-C power input
• The colours of the Nikon and Canon versions are modernized: Red for Canon and Yellow for Nikon
• The ProCube3 does not need a dedicated adapter: any 30W or more adapter can be used to supply power. For instance, your smartphone or laptop adapter. Note that even a lower than 30W adapter will work, however the charging will be slower.

The hähnel ProCube3 will be available from hähnel dealers in the UK, Ireland, and the Netherlands from the end of December 2024 in 6 different models: Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Panasonic and Olympus. It will have a recommended retail price of £69.99 / €79.99.
