New STEINER COMMANDER 7x50C and 7x50 marine binoculars

New Steiner Commander 7x50C

Transcontinenta Group, distributor of STEINER-OPTIK in the Netherlands, introduces the new STEINER COMMANDER 7x50C and 7x50. The U.S. Navy, merchant marine, offshore sailors, yacht owners, charter professionals, etc. all use the high quality binoculars from STEINER, the world leader in extreme marine use for more than 40 years. The name stands for confidence and safety. Hardly any other binoculars offer more performance, better handling and higher optical quality. After years of intensive research and development, STEINER is proud to present a new generation of binoculars for maritime use: the all new COMMANDER 7x50.

The new COMMANDER features a high-tech, glass-fibre reinforced polycarbonate body and a new aluminium open-bridge design that makes it both lighter and more robust. The ergonomic design and proven Comfort-Balance system ensure one-handed operation, increased comfort and grip, together with the fast ClicLoc 2.0 system for engaging and disengaging. The advanced NBR rubber coating with STEINER's signature ribs provides a secure and non-slip grip, virtually eliminating the risk of falling. The reliable combination of functionality, legendary ruggedness and comfortable handling makes the COMMANDER the best companion for generations.

The exceptionally large field of view, now up to 140 metres, and the improved peripheral vision provide the best possible overview in every situation, especially when it counts and every second counts. After intensive research, STEINER's unique Diamond Marine lens coating is applied using rare fluorides and minerals to guarantee unparalleled light transmission, brightness and contrast. So you get perfectly clear images even in low light. Finally, the STEINER autofocus system keeps the image razor sharp from 20 metres to infinity.

Another exclusive feature of the COMMANDER is the integrated precision crosshair, which allows precise calculations of dimensions and distances and is a valuable tool for estimating the distance to the object. This allows the battery to be changed quickly and easily at any time, anywhere.

Highlights of the new COMMANDER
  • World's largest and most accurate illuminated compass
  • Built-in precision crosshairs for calculating dimensions and distances
  • Crystal clear image due to high quality optics and large field of view
  • Steiner autofocus for crystal clear images from 20 metres to infinity
