New Samyang AF 75mm F1.8 X for Fujifilm X-Mount cameras

The Transcontinenta Group, distributor of Samyang in the Benelux, introduces the new Samyang AF 75mm F1.8 X for Fujifilm X-Mount cameras.

At 257g, this new autofocus telephoto lens is surprisingly light, making it a perfect fit for Fujifilm APS-C X-mount cameras. The lens is up to two times lighter than comparable lenses available today. It is perfect for still photography, but also for video. Its light weight makes it very easy to use on a gimbal, for example. The Samyang AF 75mm F1.8 X has a focal length of 112.5mm, taking into account the 1.5x APS-C crop factor, making it perfect for portrait, street, and nature photography.

This compact prime lens offers outstanding performance thanks to Samyang's 50 years of lens design experience. The two HR (High Refractive) and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements of the new AF 75mm F1.8 X ensure stunning contrast and high resolution in all areas of the image. Notably, this lens does not contain a single aspherical lens element, creating a soft and refined bokeh effect. As mentioned above, the Samyang AF 75mm F1.8 X is also great for shooting video, thanks to its silent and fast autofocus system and the new 'Preset Aperture Control' function on the 'Custom Switch - Mode 2'. This allows Fujifilm camera users to smoothly control the depth of field without any noise or vibration during (video) recording.

Finally, the AF 75mm F1.8X can be used in all (weather) conditions thanks to special seals at no less than five points on the body. This prevents damage or contamination from dust, rain or snow.
