New: Leica Summicron-SL 35, Summicron-SL 50 and SL2/ SL2-S kits

Leica Camera AG has more than 150 years of experience in the development, design and manufacture of optics. Since then, Leica lenses have been synonymous with high-quality, reliable precision tools that retain their value and capture photos and videos in outstanding image quality. The Leica SL2 and Leica SL2-S are now available with two new lenses: the Summicron-SL 35 f/2 ASPH. and the Summicron-SL 50 f/2 ASPH.

Both standard focal lengths are extremely compact and lightweight. At the same time, they offer high speed and the famous Summicron look with a very shallow depth of field. This makes the SL system even easier to handle and ideal for daily use and travel. Thanks to their linear direct drive, Summicron lenses focus extremely quickly, smoothly and accurately. As a result, they not only provide excellent focusing performance for photography, but are also ideal for videography, where quiet focusing is very important.

Versatile Leica SL prime lenses

The Summicron-SL 35 f/2 ASPH. covers a wide range of applications in landscape, street and reportage photography and opens up new perspectives with a closest focusing distance of only 0.25 m. The Summicron-SL 50 f/2 ASPH. shows its strengths in almost all photographic situations, especially in travel, event and portrait photography. These two SL lenses not only expand the SL system, but also the L-Mount portfolio with two versatile, compact and lightweight lenses for photographing and filming in brilliant image quality "Made by Leica". The two new Summicron lenses also use aspherical elements. These make it possible to combine high optical performance with compact dimensions. Finally, Leica Sport Optics' renowned Aqua Dura coating provides effective protection against moisture and dirt on the front and rear lenses.

The new Leica SL lenses will soon be available at the Leica Store Amsterdam, the Leica Store Lisse and authorized Leica dealers in the Netherlands.
