Leica Store Amsterdam unveils cool new look and Leica Gallery

Great news for photography enthusiasts. The Transcontinenta Group, Leica's distributor in the Netherlands, is delighted to announce the grand reopening of the new Leica Store in Amsterdam. The relocation of the store comes as the Transcontinenta Group reinforces its commitment to providing the ultimate Leica brand and product experience for its dedicated enthusiasts.

Leica's passion for photography is at the heart of this new store at Van Baerlestraat 74, right in the heart of Amsterdam's museum district. It's the first time they've presented their innovative Retail 2.0 design concept in the Netherlands. With around 120 square metres of space, it's all about adaptability and meeting the changing needs of their customers. The store has a fresh and modern look that makes shopping a breeze while staying true to Leica's camera principles. 

Your journey to excellence

Step into the store and you're in for an immersive experience. There are dedicated areas for each product line, including the brand new Leica Cinema TV and Leica Watches. There's also a cool vintage Leica section where you can buy or trade-in Leica customer pre-owned products. If you're into art and culture, you can throughout the year explore books and exhibitions by local and international photographers in the new Leica Gallery Amsterdam, a 70m2 creative space. Here you'll find over time both well-known artists and rising stars, celebrating contemporary photography. The first exhibition presents 'Symphony of Faces' by Rahi Rezvani, an Iranian-born artist living in the Netherlands. The Leica Store and Gallery will be the place to be for photography lovers in Amsterdam and beyond.

Leica's new store design is all about creating a comfortable, welcoming space that encourages creativity and collaboration. They've used sustainable wood finishes and a minimalist aesthetic to show their commitment to environmental sustainability.
