Transcontinenta UK Ltd., as broncolor distributor for the UK, proudly announces an all-day broncolor studio lighting masterclass taught by the Swiss lighting master Urs Recher on Wednesday 18 October 2023.

For those seeking a deeper understanding of studio lighting, we are delighted to bring Urs Recher back to the UK. With years of experience and an unparalleled depth of knowledge, Urs will provide insights that could refine your approach to photography. To coincide with this session, we'll be introducing the new broncolor Satos and Pulso L, which will be used during the masterclass for both studio and on-location demonstrations.

Details of the 'Shape The Light' Masterclass program

Morning session
An exploration of the relationship between light and skin delves into controlling the appearance of skin through lighting techniques. This exploration also covers approaches to portrait photography, techniques for product photography, and a deep dive into understanding the capabilities and potential of softboxes.

During the lunch session, attendees will have an opportunity to network with their local broncolor UK representative and get a hands-on experience with the new broncolor Satos and Pulso L.

Afternoon session
You will gain insights into understanding and mastering High-Speed Sync (HSS) and delve into the intricacies of Para, which is more than just a light shaper—it's a complete lighting system. Additionally, they will explore the dual functions of Satos, which offers both flash and ambient light capabilities. This afternoon event will also feature a special Q&A session for further engagement and clarity.

Photographers of all levels are welcome to attend, although a basic knowledge of photography and flash would be an advantage. It's worth noting that the event is for a select audience, with limited places available. The price of the Shape The Light masterclass is £99.00 including VAT, and includes a lunch for the participants.
