When our Executive Vice President, Larry Shepherd, was a pre-teen, the big AI movie was “2001: A Space Odyssey”. HAL 9000 was an AI computer that could converse with the astronauts. Larry's 30-something co-workers say their AI movie was “I, Robot,” where robotics try to enslave the human race in the year 2035.
