Trustee all over the world….okay well maybe just most of the USA.

TI-TRUST has been acting as trustee for clients across the country since 1956.  From our offices in Illinois and Missouri, we act as trustee for clients located in approximately 40 states.  We take the time to understand the different state laws affecting our accounts. As a corporate fiduciary we also take the steps necessary to ensure we are able to provide trustee services in other states. While our primary concentration of trustee work is Missouri and Illinois, conducting the research and taking these steps, we are able to serve clients nationwide. 

Florida is a perfect example because we see a significant number of clients retiring there and changing their residency in order to lower the tax burden.  We conducted the research and confirmed with Florida regulators that TI-TRUST is permitted to provide certain trustee services for our clients in Florida.  For example, we can be named and serve as trustee for Florida trusts, administering them from our offices in Missouri and Illinois, however, we cannot be appointed as trustee by a Florida court.  Seems to be splitting hairs but that is how the law works.  We have acted, do act, and will act as trustee for a Florida trust.
