INTERNATIONELLA KVINNODAGEN VARJE DAG – The Viking Museum lyfter kvinnorna hela Mars ut

Den 8 mars är det internationella kvinnodagen! Vi vill fira det lite längre och gör hela mars till kvinnornas månad. Vi på The Viking Museum kommer att lyfta detta på våra sociala medier och en exklusiv visning om kvinnor på vikingatiden.

Den specialskrivna visningen ”Bland valkyrior och husfruar” framförs av vår arkeolog Eric och handlar om hur viktiga kvinnorna var under vikingatiden samt lyfter några intressanta individer. Visningen ges vid tre tillfällen under mars och där finns det möjlighet att boka biljetter till dessa dagar. Vi följer FHMs rekommendationer vad gäller corona-anpassning och gruppen blir inte större än 8 personer.

Priset är 300 kr per person och då ingår entré, visningen och även ett glas mjöd. Visningen är ca 45 minuter lång och efter visningen finns möjlighet att upptäcka museet samt åka vikingafärden Ragnfrids saga. Ni har även möjlighet att handla i vår fina museibutik med 20% rabatt.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY EVERY DAY – The Viking Museum highlights women all throughout March

International women's day is on the 8th of March! We want to extend the celebrations the whole month through. The Viking Museum will highlight this in our social media and with an exclusive tour about women in the viking age.

The special tour is called ”Among valkyries and housewives” and is held by our archaeologist Eric and tells the stories about the important viking age women and also lift a few special ones. The tour is given on three occasions during March and you can book a spot for any of these days. We follow FHMs recommendations regarding corona and the group will have a maximum of 8 persons.

The price is 300 kr per person and that includes entrance to the museum, the tour and a glass of mead. The tour is about 45 minutes long and after the tour you are welcome to explore the exhibition, take our viking ride Ragnfrids saga and you also get a 20% discount in our lovely museum shop.

We can arrange a private tour with your group or a digital tour if that is preferred.
