The SWB Elite Foal Auction Hybrid collection is here

The collection for the SWB Elite Foal Auction Hybrid 2026 is now live. A total of 36 carefully selected SWB jumping and dressage foals will go under the hammer at Flyinge on Friday, 2 October. The full collection can now be discovered through videos, photos, veterinary inspection reports and detailed information about pedigrees and damlines.

The SWB Elite Foal Auctions 2026, presented by Landshypotek Bank, will take place in two formats this year. Alongside the SWB Elite Foal Online Auction featuring 26 foals on October 3rd, 36 selected jumping and dressage foals will take centre stage at the SWB Elite Foal Hybrid Auction, a live auction at Flyinge with online bidding available to buyers around the world.

This year’s collection brings together Swedish-bred prospects with internationally sought-after bloodlines and established, performance-proven damlines. The digital auction catalogue offers prospective buyers the opportunity to explore each individual and on the auctions website you´ll find videos, photos and detailed pedigree information.

Frederik de Backer to conduct the Hybrid Auction

Internationally renowned auctioneer Frederik de Backer will conduct the SWB Elite Foal Auction Hybrid at Flyinge. New for this year, he is also involved in presenting the online-collection foal videos ahead of the auction. In the videos, Frederik introduces the individuals and shares his impressions, giving prospective buyers an additional insight into the foals before bidding begins.

 

On Friday, 2 October, the 36 selected foals will enter the arena in the at Flyinge, where they will be presented live in front of the audience while going under the hammer. The hybrid format opens the auction to an international audience, with bidding available both live at Flyinge and online through the auction platform.

62 selected SWB foals – two auctions

The SWB Elite Foal Auctions 2026 feature a total of 62 selected foals. In addition to the 36 foals offered at the Hybrid Auction, the SWB Elite Foal Auction Online features 26 selected jumping and dressage foals. Online bidding opens on 30 September, with the final bid-up starting at 20:00 on 3 October.

 

The SWB Elite Foal Auctions are part of SWB Equestrian Weeks with the Breeders Trophy at Flyinge, 26 September–4 October, bringing together Swedish breeding and the country’s leading young horses during one of the highlights of the Swedish equestrian calendar.
