Exciting debutant is this year's showjumping test rider

SWB Equestrian Weeks featuring the Breeders Trophy in showjumping, where some of Swedens finest young horses will compete, will take place at Flyinge Kungsgård from October 2-6.  This year’s test rider in showjumping is making her debut in the role. She joined an exclusive group of Swedish World Cup winners after her victory at the World Cup in Scandinavium. She was also part of the team that won the European Championship bronze in Herning, Denmark. Today, she is married with three children while competing at the 5* level, and she was nominated as an Olympic reserve with her mare Kalinka van de Nachtegaele.

SWB is very proud to present Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli as the test rider for some of Sweden’s most promising 5-year-old showjumping horses in the Breeders Trophy. Angelica will also, like the experienced dressage rider Benjamin Werndl, host an exciting clinic focusing on the basics of riding, training, and educating of young horses.

Originally from Onsala, outside Kungsbacka, Sweden, Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli has been living in Belgium for many years. There, she runs a successful business together with her husband, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli. Together, they train and educate horses from the age of five or six all the way up to Grand Prix level, with many of their absolute top competition horses being trained by themselves. 

- Being a test rider at the Breeders Trophy is an assigment I'm really looking forward to," says Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli. "This will be my debut as a test rider, and I’m excited to ride some of Sweden’s most promising young SWB-horses. Maybe there’s a future star for the big arenas among them!"

Riders for the clinics during the dressage and show jumping weeks will be announced in August and September.
