Gentex Showcases Next-Gen Security and Smart Home Technologies at ISC West

Products used to protect your home

Today at the International Security Conference and Exposition West Show (ISC West), Gentex is showcasing a suite of technologies designed to enhance security, safety, and convenience across residential and commercial applications.

Gentex will feature an overview of the company’s commercial and residential fire protection products, including PLACE, a new line of smart home products that blends safety, comfort, and security features into one sophisticated system.

The PLACE portfolio of smart-home solutions is being designed to address the nuanced safety requirements of various home spaces. The base Any Space unit is perfect for any location in the home, providing smart smoke and carbon monoxide detection and Wi-Fi connectivity for space-specific alerts. The system’s versatility is further demonstrated through specialized units for the kitchen, nursery, and garage, each equipped with additional safeguards like gas and VOC detection, room-monitoring cameras, intercoms, and temperature and humidity sensing.

Gentex’s ISC West booth will also feature its recently launched a program called HomeLink Smart Home SolutionsÔ, which provides homeowners, builders and commercial property managers with curated, professionally installed and monitored smart home systems. The systems can include a broad range of devices, such as smart locks, lighting, thermostats, security cameras, intrusion sensors – even options for solar power and EV charging.

Security isn’t just about monitoring and automation—it’s also about identity verification and access control. That’s where EyeLock, Gentex’s iris authentication technology, comes in. As one of the most secure and convenient biometric authentication methods available, EyeLock provides touchless, high-assurance identity verification, making it ideal for high-security environments in multiple industries such as financial services, healthcare, education, transportation and more.

Rounding out Gentex’s showcase is ADASKY’s thermal imaging technology, which enhances situational awareness and security monitoring. Unlike traditional cameras that rely on visible light, ADASKY’s thermal sensors detect heat signatures, allowing for detection in complete darkness, fog, smoke, or other low-visibility conditions. This makes them invaluable for security professionals seeking uninterrupted surveillance and perimeter protection.

ISC West, a SIA-sponsored event, is the largest converged security trade event in the United States. Held annually at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, ISC West offers the opportunity to discover the latest technologies and network, learn and connect with thousands of security and public safety professionals. This year’s show takes place March 31 – April 4. Gentex’s ISC West exhibit can be found in the Venetian Expo, booth 7089.
