Companies Will Highlight Partnership Details at Michigan Minority Procurement Conference

ZEELAND, Mich., April 29, 2024 – Gentex Corporation (NASDAQ: GTX) and Wolverine Assemblies, LLC today announced the formation of a joint venture to provide original equipment manufacturers and automotive suppliers with access to a range of services including warehousing, logistics, assembly, and light manufacturing with an established, MBE-certified provider.

Gentex President and CEO Steve Downing, Wolverine President and CEO Al Hall, and TAG Holdings, LLC Chairman and CEO Joseph Anderson, will provide details of the partnership and its benefits during a roundtable discussion on growing MBEs Through Ecosystem Collaboration on Wednesday, May 1, at the Michigan Minority Procurement Conference at Huntington Place in Detroit.

Wolverine currently operates out of a 200,000 square-foot facility in Wixom, providing warehousing, assembly, logistics, and a variety of supply chain management services. Wolverine hopes to expand its capabilities to include electronics manufacturing and is seeking early adopter OEMs and suppliers interested in using and growing alongside an established, MBE-certified supplier.
