With just three months to go, Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays) is on track to beat all previous records. Held in Malmo from September 28-29th, this unique event showcases the entire spectrum of Nordic life sciences demonstrating exactly why Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland ranked so highly in the recent Nature Biotechnology World Review.
“Already now, three months in advance, we have 25% more registrations compared to the last in-person event in 2019. There are also a record 120 exhibiting companies and organisations,“ reveals Olivier Duchamp-Giudicelli, Managing Director, NLSDays.
“Furthermore, NLSDays’ standing as an international event continues to grow – 40% of delegates are from overseas and we have more than 100 foreign investors attending,” he says.
NLSDays comprises an official programme opening with a keynote on powering up through partnerships, followed by six themed Super Sessions:
In addition, there will be fireside chats, individual company presentations and a Rising Stars pitch contest for pre-selected start-up companies. Delegates will also be able to use the renowned BIO One-on-One Partnering system and visit the exhibition.
“Above all we see Nordic Life Science Days as the leading forum for stimulating the partnerships which are vital for success in life sciences both within our region and internationally,” says Helena Strigard, CEO of SwedenBIO.
“I am delighted that Olivier and his team have built such a great programme and that delegate numbers are already so high. Personally, I am looking forward immensely to chairing the Grand Opening session on successfully powering up through partnerships and setting the tone for what I am sure will be a fantastic two days,” she says.
