20 Innovative Nordic Companies to Compete for Life Science Awards at NLSDays 2024

Twenty promising life science companies from the Nordic region have been shortlisted to compete in the prestigious Nordic Stars pitch competition at Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays) 2024. These emerging companies will present their innovations to an audience of investors, industry leaders, and conference delegates at the event in Malmö, held on September 18-19.

The shortlisted competitors are small- and medium-sized private companies from the Nordic countries, engaged in research and development within health, medicine, or life science. Each company will deliver a four-minute pitch, aiming to attract new investors and business partners through both the pitch and the conference’s partnering system.

In addition to potential investor interest, the competitors will vie for a significant prize awarded during the NLSDays closing ceremony. The company deemed to have the highest investment potential by a jury of investors and pharma representatives will receive a prize of 10,000 EUR in cash, in-kind services, and two full-access tickets to NLSDays 2025.

Start-up Loma Therapeutics won Merck's Advance Biotech Grant Program – Nordics, at NLSDays 2023 Nordic Star Pitch Competition.
