Wizz Airs route from Skellefteå to Gdansk postponed to november

We regret to inform you that the launch of Wizz Air’s new route to Gdansk has been postponed to November

On 21 June, the new route from Skellefteå to the Polish city of Gdansk was due to be launched by Wizz Air, Europe’s fastest growing and most sustainable airline.

Wizz Air today announced that unfortunately it has made the difficult decision to postpone the launch of the new route to 1 November due to operational reasons.

The airline remains committed to providing Swedish passengers with affordable and sustainable travel to exciting destinations.

- We are of course sorry about the decision but still have a full understanding. I am sure that the route between Skellefteå and Gdansk will be a success when it opens, says Robert Lindberg, CEO of Skellefteå Airport
