Netflix Adaptation of "Vinterviken"

We are happy to annonce that Netflix is doing an adaptation of Mats Wahl's "Vinterviken" (Winter Bay). It is a modern take on the classic novel, that will be called "Vinterviken 2021", and it will be released world wide fall 2021. 

"Vinterviken" was first published in 1993, and has since then become a modern classic. This tale of two star-crossed lovers discusses themes such as love, friendship, loyalty, and racism. It has been read by generations of teenagers both in Sweden and abroad, and has been given prestigious awards, such as August Prize and Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis.

On the occasion of the new film, Bokförlaget Opal is publishing a new updated edition of the book.
