Nordic Climate Group is strengthening its presence in the Netherlands by appointing Erik Snijders as Country Manager. A rapidly growing, decentralized organization, Nordic Climate Group employs over 1,700 people in more than 100 locations in Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, and produces a combined turnover of EUR 450 million.
Following its establishment in July 2024 through the acquisitions of Compair Airconditioning B.V. and T&S Klimaattechniek B.V., the group continues to grow. In November 2024, Cooling Systems Holland, Cooling Service Holland, Installatiebedrijf Bakker BV, MIB Installatietechniek, TCB, and 3BG Cooling were added to Nordic Climate Group Netherlands B.V. With eight companies now in the Dutch group, an organization is taking shape, aimed at long-term growth and becoming the leader in the Netherlands for energy-efficient and sustainable cooling installations.
Erik Snijders brings extensive experience to Nordic Climate Group from his key roles in organizations focused on energy efficiency and sustainability. After serving in leadership at top Dutch sustainability companies KiesZon and Greenchoice, Erik launched and operated his own consultancy and interim management company specializing in partnerships and growth.
“We are thrilled that Erik Snijders is joining Nordic Climate Group Netherlands B.V. His experience, business acumen, and network of contacts will be crucial for our long-term efforts in the Netherlands,” says Fredrik Gren, CEO of Nordic Climate Group.
Joseph Kuling, Chairman of Nordic Climate Group Netherlands B.V., notes that Erik Snijders’ recruitment reflects both the group’s ambitions and the significant impact that the group is already making in the Dutch market.
“I couldn’t help but notice Nordic Climate Group’s rapid growth in Northern Europe, so it was both exciting and very appealing to start a dialogue with them – and that dialogue has now resulted in us being on the same team. My experience and commitment to sustainability, energy efficiency, and business development are a great match for the group’s ambitions,” says Erik Snijders, incoming Country Manager for Nordic Climate Group Netherlands B.V.
Nordic Climate Group focuses on helping its customers minimize their climate footprint and maximize energy efficiency. The plan is to continue building a leading company in Northern Europe, with strong organic growth as well as expansion through acquisitions. The model is founded on entrepreneurial spirit, decentralized operations with cooperation in business, negotiations, and procurement, effective training, and sharing of technological know-how.
“I see the group’s decentralized model as a key factor. Combining this way of working with a focus on sustainability using natural refrigerants attracts industry entrepreneurs. It’s truly a great way for many companies to take the next step, and I’m really looking forward to expanding our Dutch operations with more entrepreneurs,” says Erik Snijders.
Erik Snijders will assume the role of Country Manager on January 7, 2025.
