Nordic Climate Group is expanding in Denmark by acquiring Buus Køle-Service ApS. This follows their acquisitions in 2023 of both Buus Køleteknik and Buus Ice, all located in Mors, Jutland. With this acquisition, Nordic Climate Group strengthens its position in Northwest Jutland. Buus Køle-Service has a long tradition of providing refrigeration solutions to grocery stores, retail, as well as industrial and commercial businesses throughout northwest Jutland. The previously acquired Buus, Køleteknik and Buus Ice, focus on the production and sale of ice machines. Established in 2021, Nordic Climate Group has a turnover of 4 billion SEK and employs around 1,500 people at over 80 local establishments in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Through this acquisition, Nordic Climate Group Denmark now has around 160 employees.
Buus Køle-Service, founded in 2007 with 19 employees, is acquired from the former owners Carsten Nilsen, Dennis Djernis, and Kevin Rockell, who each held equal shares in the company. The foundation of Nordic Climate Group's business is a strong local market position. This means that Buus Køle-Service, like other companies in the group, will continue to operate under its local brand, with former owners retaining their roles, and current operations including customer assignments being prioritized.
The focus on grocery stores and retail entails a high level of service and proximity to customers.
Nordic Climate Group is clear in its commitment to delivering maximum energy efficiency and minimal climate footprint, which aligns well with Buus Køle-Service's position at the forefront of the transition to natural refrigerants.
The acquisition of Buus Køle-Service is both about continued growth in Denmark and adding expertise.
Nordic Climate Group's focus is on helping its customers minimize their climate footprint and maximize energy efficiency. The plan is to continue building a leading company in Northern Europe with strong growth both organically and through further acquisitions. The model is based on entrepreneurship, decentralized business units with collaborations in business/procurement, staff training, and sharing of technical expertise.
Nordic Climate Group is a leading player in cooling, heating and energy-efficient installations with the aim of being an obvious role model in sustainable climate solutions. We take overall responsibility from idea, planning, installation and delivery to maintenance and service. The group was formed in 2021 and is located in Sweden, Norway.
