NLSDays breaks records for international and investor participation
Nordic Life Science DaysWith less than a week to go, Nordic Life Science Days (NLSDays), the premier partnering event for Nordic life science, is seeing strong international participation and investor attendance.
With more than 170 investors and 13 national delegations confirmed, NLSDays is poised to set a new standard for the premier life science partnering event in the Nordics as the conference prepares to open its doors on 8–9 September in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
The strong turnout comes despite fierce competition and global economic turmoil, which are tightening access to funding for companies around the world. The Nordics, however, are attracting growing attention. International actors are flocking to explore the innovative power of the five Nordic nations, with international participation reaching the highest levels in Nordic Life Science Days’ history.
Marjo Puumalainen, Executive Director of the conference, comments: “The fact that leading international investors are prioritizing NLSDays is a strong vote of confidence in Swedish and Nordic life sciences. Recent Swedish deals demonstrate that innovations developed here are world-class and have the potential to create significant value. Our ambition is to turn this growing interest into new investments, partnerships and business opportunities.”
