Göran “Yogi” Breisner will judge Champion of the Champions, presented by Hyperion Stud, during SWB Equestrian Weeks on Saturday, 3 October.
Champion of the Champions made its debut during SWB Equestrian Weeks in 2025 and returns this year with some of Sweden’s most promising young event horses. The leading combinations from the Breeders Trophy for four-, five- and six-year-old event horses are invited to Flyinge, where the horses will be presented in a condensed format featuring all three phases of eventing.
Having Yogi Breisner judge the horses is an exciting addition to this year’s Champion of the Champions. Breisner brings extensive experience from the world of eventing as a rider, coach and team leader. He represented Sweden internationally for many years, won team gold at the 1983 European Championships and competed at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. He later led the British eventing team for 17 years, achieving numerous medals at Olympic Games, World Championships and European Championships. Today, he serves as interim Sports Director of the Swedish Equestrian Federation.

Champion of the Champions is part of SWB’s commitment to Swedish event horse breeding and connects the pathway from the first assessments of young horses through the Breeders Trophy and FEI WBFSH Eventing World Breeding Championship for Young Horses, with international championship sport as the long-term goal.
The winner will be named Most Promising Eventing Horse, with the owner and breeder sharing a prize of SEK 10,000.
Ahead of Champion of the Champions, Hyperion Stud invites guests to a reception in the AJ Breeders Lounge at Flyinge, an opportunity to meet and mingle before Saturday evening’s Champion of the Champions.
The reception is open to guests, with free admission to Champion of the Champions on Saturday evening. Champion of the Champions, presented by Hyperion Stud, takes place on Saturday, 3 October during SWB Equestrian Weeks at Flyinge.
