Discover 26 carefully selected jumping and dressage foals through videos, photos, veterinary inspection reports and detailed information about their dam lines. New for this year, auctioneer Frederik de Backer introduces the foals and shares his impressions in each individual foal video.
The SWB Elite Foal Auctions 2026, presented by Landshypotek Bank, will take place in two formats this year: an Online Auction and a Hybrid Auction at Flyinge. First to be unveiled is the collection for the SWB Elite Foal Auction Online, featuring 26 selected SWB jumping and dressage foals looking for their future owners.
The digital auction catalogue now features photos of all the foals, together with detailed information about their pedigrees and dam lines. This year’s collection combines internationally sought-after bloodlines with several highly successful Swedish mare families.
Frederik de Backer introduces the foals
New for this year’s Online Auction, internationally renowned auctioneer Frederik de Backer takes part in presenting the collection. In each foal’s video, he introduces the individual and shares his impressions, giving prospective buyers an additional insight into the foals ahead of the bidding.
Bidding opens on the evening of 30 September, with the final bid-up starting at 20:00 on Saturday, 3 October. The opening bid for every foal is €4,000, approximately SEK 45,000.
Two opportunities to find your future SWB star
This year’s SWB Elite Foal Auctions feature a total of 63 selected foals. In addition to the 26 foals offered in the Online Auction, 37 selected jumping and dressage foals will be offered at the SWB Elite Foal Auction Hybrid on Friday, 2 October.
The Hybrid Auction will take place at Flyinge, where the foals will be presented live in front of the audience, with online bidding also available.
The Hybrid Auction collection, including photos, videos and information about each foal, will be published on Friday, 18 September.The SWB Elite Foal Auctions are part of SWB Equestrian Weeks with the Breeders Trophy at Flyinge, bringing together Swedish breeding and the country’s leading young horses during the major championship week from 26 September to 4 October.
