Danish assessment supports the safety of RevoCaP for future feed applications

A new assessment by the Danish Centre for Food and Agriculture (DCA) at Aarhus University concludes that RevoCaP, EasyMining's recycled calcium phosphate produced through the Ash2Phos process, has a very low likelihood of containing undesirable substances at levels of toxicological concern.

The evaluation followed contaminants through the entire recovery chain, from wastewater and sewage sludge to ash and the final phosphorus product. According to the assessment, the combination of thermal treatment and chemical extraction provides multiple purification barriers that effectively remove or destroy contaminants, resulting in a high-purity phosphorus product.

The findings add to the growing body of evidence supporting the role of recovered phosphorus in a more circular and resilient resource supply, including potential future applications in the feed phosphate market.
