Insta360 introduces the X6, its latest flagship 360 camera designed for creators who want high-resolution video, strong low-light performance, and simple editing in one compact camera.

360 action cameras are made to capture everything around the user at once. This makes them ideal for travel, sports, outdoor activities, vlogging, motorsports, and creative everyday filming. Instead of aiming the camera perfectly while recording, users can choose the best angle afterwards in the edit. This gives creators more freedom, helps capture unexpected moments, and makes it easier to create dynamic videos from a single shot.

Insta360 X6 is designed as an all-in-one 360 camera for creators who want professional results without a complicated workflow. A new feature in X6 is its upgraded imaging system, built around a 1/1.1-inch sensor with a 1-inch equivalent imaging area for 360 video. Together with a new triple AI core system and an upgraded 4nm processing chip, the camera is designed to deliver strong image quality in both 360 and single-lens shooting, during the day and in low-light conditions.
X6 also brings new image quality options for creators who want more control. The camera records 360 video in up to 8K at 50fps and supports 10-bit colour, I-Log, and Dolby Vision. These features give users more flexibility for colour, dynamic range, and professional-looking video straight from a compact 360 camera.

Another new feature in X6 is Replaceable Lenses 2.0. This upgraded lens design adds more flexibility for active use and helps make the camera better suited for demanding everyday shooting. The larger battery also allows up to 140 minutes of 8K30fps 360 recording, giving creators more time to capture without interruption.

For users who want to shoot in a more traditional way, Single-Lens Mode records up to 5K at 60fps. It can also capture 4K at 180fps for slow-motion footage, making X6 easy to use as both a 360 camera and a wide-angle action camera.

Editing is made simple with Insta360’s updated Auto Edit 2.0. Powered by an in-house AI model, the system can automatically identify highlights, add effects, and create ready-to-share videos with a single tap in the Insta360 app. This makes it easier to turn 360 footage into polished videos without spending a long time editing manually.
