Björn Axén and Stéphane Rolland mark 10 seasons of collaboration at Paris Haute Couture Autumn 2026/27

Swedish heritage haircare and styling brand, Björn Axén, today joined forces with acclaimed French couturier Stéphane Rolland, to celebrate a milestone tenth season of collaboration at the Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2026/27 show during Paris Haute Couture Week.

 

Presented at the legendary Olympia Theater, the collection drew inspiration from the enduring legacy of iconic artist Dalida. Rather than revisiting a specific era, Rolland sought to capture her spirit — the emotion, grace and humanity that made her a timeless cultural figure.

 

The creative vision was brought to life with a hair concept that moved away from traditional couture updos towards the understated sophistication of Japanese minimalism. The resulting looks balanced technical precision with artistic freedom, combining sculptural knots with deliberately loose strands to create a refined yet expressive silhouette.

To create the hair look, the team of hairdressers from Björn Axén worked with a selection of Björn Axén styling products. The Anti-Frizz Miracle Spray created a smooth, controlled base, while the Miracle Hair Oil added a sleek touch and enhanced shine. A combination of the Just Right and Megafix hairsprays were used to secure the looks, and provide the lasting performance required for the runway. Together, the products helped create a styling direction that balanced technical precision with a clear creative vision.
