Nowaste continues to invest in long-term growth and development. As part of the company’s strategic focus on future business opportunities, Helene Högberg has been appointed to a new role focused on strategic business and operational development, as well as the development of new business areas.
Helene Högberg holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and brings extensive experience from both industry and the consulting sector. Throughout her career, she has worked with some of the Nordic region’s most well-known companies, including IKEA, Tetra Pak, and Kalmar. For the past eight years, she has served as CEO of the engineering consultancy company Avalon Innovation, where she has successfully led the business through growth, transformation, and strategic development.

Through her experience both leading organizations and helping companies develop and transform, Helene has built strong expertise in business development, change management, and organizational development. Her work has often taken place at the intersection of strategy, people, and technology – areas that are becoming increasingly important as companies work to build competitive and scalable operations.
In her new role, Helene will work closely with Nowaste’s leadership team and report directly to Johan Kallin. The recruitment is part of the company’s long-term commitment to further developing the business and identifying new opportunities in a rapidly changing logistics market.
