Leica Cine Compact 1 delivers big-screen cinema in a compact format

Transcontinenta Group, distributor for Leica in the Netherlands, announces the expansion of Leica's smart projection portfolio with the new Leica Cine Compact 1. Combining Leica's optical expertise with modern streaming capabilities, intelligent automation, and a highly flexible design, this compact 4K smart mini laser projector brings premium home entertainment to virtually any environment.

With a brightness of 1,700 lumens, projection sizes of up to 220 inches and a fully integrated 360-degree rotation support system, the Leica Cine Compact 1 transforms living rooms, terraces, gardens, and multifunctional spaces into immersive viewing environments. Its rotating stand allows effortless projection onto walls, ceilings, and other surfaces without the need for a fixed screen.

Superior image and sound quality in a compact format

Building on Leica's optical heritage, which dates back to the company's first projector in 1926, the Leica Cine Compact 1 delivers impressive image quality in a remarkably compact form factor.

At its core is a Leica Summicron zoom lens with aspherical elements, combined with a powerful 0.47-inch DMD chip and Triple RGB laser technology. Together, these technologies produce sharp 4K images with natural colours, high brightness, and exceptional detail. Leica Image Optimization (LIO™) further enhances image quality, while Dolby Vision ensures rich contrast and smooth brightness transitions.

The Leica Cine Compact 1 also delivers an engaging audio experience. Its integrated speaker system produces clear and powerful sound, while support for Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS Virtual:X creates an immersive surround sound experience. External speakers can easily be connected via Bluetooth 5.4 or HDMI.

Intelligent automation for effortless entertainment

Designed for ease of use, the Leica Cine Compact 1 features a range of automated setup functions, including autofocus, automatic keystone correction, screen detection, and intelligent image alignment. The projector automatically optimises the image without requiring manual adjustments.

The integrated VIDAA U 9.6 operating system provides direct access to popular streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and YouTube. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay, Apple HomeKit, HDMI, and USB, enabling seamless integration with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and smart home ecosystems.

For convenient transport and storage, the Leica Cine Compact 1 is supplied with a durable carrying case made from fully recyclable EPP material.
