Expanding the walnut series
Audio Pro, C5 MkII W walnutThe Swedish speaker designer Audio Pro is now expanding its product range with yet another speaker in the very popular colour option walnut veneer.
By the end of April Audio Pro is launching their renowned speaker C5 MkII W in a new finish; walnut veneer. This colour option can already be found among some larger speaker models in this Swedish speaker designer’s product range. The speakers A28 W, A48 W, and C20 W are being offered in walnut as a standard colour option, and now the somewhat smaller C5 MkII W will join them.
Nils Ankarcrona, CEO at Audio Pro, comments: “The walnut finish is something we launched already in early 2025, thinking it would be suitable for a limited range of products, but we have experienced a substantial demand in the market for this colour version, and have thereby decided to increase the range of speakers we offer in this walnut veneer. The exclusive look and feel of the genuine veneer material, appeals to our customers request for quality products in a market that is shifting away from fast consumption trends with cheap and low-quality products, towards a more sustainable consumer behaviour.”
“We have experienced a demand in the market for a surface that highlights the wood structure and its beautiful grain and diverse colour scale. We are known for a Scandinavian, minimalistic design style, but we believe that this can still be combined very nicely with this high-quality wood veneer”, says Nils Ankarcrona. The C5 MkII W is a small, yet powerful speaker that performs very well in a smaller room like a bedroom, kitchen or similar. The speaker is part of the new W-generation speakers that offers a new app, powered by Linkplay, with improved user interface and a number of new features like EQ, WiFi synchronization etc.
If Audio Pro will decide to launch even more speaker models in this popular walnut veneer is yet to be announced, but time will tell.
