Helmond, the Netherlands, 17 April 2026 – The injection moulding machines and remaining production assets of Dutch plastics processor Lolaar Spuitgiettechniek B.V. will be offered through an online auction by Troostwijk Auctions. The sale follows the voluntary closure of the family-owned company after nearly 44 years in business.
Founded 44 years ago, Lolaar Spuitgiettechniek grew into an established name in the Dutch injection moulding industry. Four years ago, the company was taken over by the next generation: Carolien van Bommel-Loverbos and her three brothers, all of whom had grown up in and around the business.
The closure marks the end of a long family history in plastics processing. At the same time, the company has chosen a controlled wind-down of operations, allowing its machinery and inventory to be brought to market in an orderly manner.
The online auction includes injection moulding machines and other production-related assets from Lolaar’s facility in Helmond. For buyers in the plastics and manufacturing industries, it offers an opportunity to acquire equipment from an established production environment in the Netherlands.
By bringing the assets to auction, the company aims to give the machinery a second life beyond its original location, potentially well outside the Netherlands.
“We hope other companies can continue working with our equipment,” says Carolien van Bommel-Loverbos, co-owner of Lolaar Spuitgiettechniek. “We have always worked with these machines with great care and commitment. It matters to us that they can now be used again by someone else.”
“This auction offers buyers access to valuable production assets from a long-standing Dutch plastics processor,” says Tjerk Douna, Account Manager at Troostwijk Auctions.
Lolaar opted for a controlled closure rather than a bankruptcy scenario. This allowed the company to conclude operations in a structured way, with attention to employees, customers, suppliers and the future use of the equipment.
The Lolaar Spuitgiettechniek injection moulding auction is available via Troostwijk Auctions. The first lot will be closing on 6 May at 14:00.
