Second wave of W-products reaching the stores

A new series of generation W products by speaker developer Audio Pro are finding their way into retail stores. Shortly after the previous introduction of the A-series, the C-series are now heading their way towards consumers.

The Swedish speaker manufacturer Audio Pro made a massive product launch of an entire generation of products at IFA in Berlin in early September. The C-series, which are part of this new generation, consists of C5 MkII W, C10 MkII W, and C20 W, and these new speakers are finally reaching the stores. The C-series might be recognized from the previous second-generation speakers, but now they are being launched in a new, third-generation speaker collection, offering an even larger soundstage, a new app and a refined design.

Nils Ankarcrona, CEO at Audio Pro explains: “The smaller C5 MkII W packs a larger punch than you might think at first glance, but is perhaps best suited for a smaller room, like a bedroom or a kitchen. The larger brother, the C10 MkII W can easily fill a larger living room with the party spirit. And the even larger C20 W will knock your socks off. Whichever you choose, you will experience a truly immersive listening experience.”

The new app, which is one of the new features for the W-generation speakers, has been developed by Linkplay. The app will supply smarter control, new features, improved stability and thereby a smoother and more intuitive user journey. The team at Audio Pro have fine-tuned the sound of every model, individually optimizing each product for greater clarity, dynamics and musicality. “The result, says Nils Ankarcrona, is a truly stunning sound that sets a new benchmark in our lineup.”

The C-series still have the Scandinavian minimalistic design, that the Audio Pro brand is known for. But the design has been harmonized in terms of colours, materials and details, to create a more cohesive look across the entire product range. The updates involves grills, control panels, logo badges, handles and much more. Nils Ankarcrona, concludes; “This new design adjustments, makes it even more visually obvious that the product range is created to work together in a multiroom system, where you are able to choose different speakers for different room in your house, adapted after interior design style as well as room size.

The C-series are available at retailers end October, and suggested retail prices are:

C10 MKII W     € 400

C20 W               € 550
