From Faroe Islands to Slovenia - all the winners of Partille World Cup

Cardea Sperling from German Club SC Markranstädt

Today, the eighteen A-finals of the Partille World Cup were decided, after more than 4,000 matches. Among the winners are teams from the Faroe Islands, Germany, and Sweden.
– It feels absolutely amazing, says Cardea Sperling from German club SC Markranstädt.

Thousands of young people have gathered in the Gothenburg area this week, to play handball and create lifelong memories. It’s been a week that shows how handball brings people together, says Secretary General Fredrik Andersson.
– Partille World Cup has been fantastic, a celebration of youth, their energy and curiosity. The real meaning of the tournament is found in the encounters between the young people, in the joy both on and off the court - about hope for the future, diversity, and a stronger sense of unity across borders.

In 2026, the 55th edition of Partille World Cup will be played in a newly redesigned Heden area, featuring an upgraded event zone and additional playing fields.
At the same time, cooperation with the surrounding municipalities will continue to evolve.
– This tournament is built on collaboration, dedication, and heart, which has been evident in every corner of the city, says Fredrik Andersson. So a big thank you to all our amazing volunteers and to Gothenburg and its neighboring municipalities, who welcomed our participants with open arms and made this all possible.
