New bags and accessories for the outdoors from Peak Design

Peak Design expands their Outdoor Collection with exciting new bags and accessories. 

The Peak Design Outdoor Collection is built for creators who venture beyond the studio. Designed with versatility and sustainability at its core, this collection of bags and accessories effortlessly bridges the gap between outdoor adventure and content creation. Whether you're hiking rugged trails, exploring remote landscapes, or capturing spontaneous moments in the city. The popular range of bags is now being expanded with the addition of a sling bag and a handy backpack.

The Outdoor Sling 4L is an ultralight, compact cross-body sling bag designed for both adventure and organization. It offers a smart pocket layout similar to the previously released 7L version but in a smaller form, ideal for carrying everyday essentials. Key features include a quick-adjusting padded strap for cross-body or waist carry, durable weatherproof materials like 100% recycled Terra Shell nylon, and thoughtful details such as a padded phone pocket with magnetic closure, external zip pocket with key tether, and internal mesh organizers. Both Fair Trade and Climate Label Certified.

The Outdoor Backpack 18L is a compact, frameless daypack designed for light adventures, day hikes, commuting, and camera carry. It offers a simplified yet functional design, compatible with Peak Design's Packing Tools and Camera Cubes for tailored organization and protection.

The bag is constructed from rugged materials, offering long-lasting durability and weather resistance while maintaining an eco-friendly footprint, thanks to its Terra Shell 210D ripstop nylon fabric, which is 100% recycled, Bluesign approved, and PFAS-free.

The Outdoor Backpack 18L is designed with functionality and adaptability in mind. Its vest-style shoulder straps distribute weight evenly across the torso, reducing strain on arms and shoulders while also offering convenient quick-access storage and mounting points for the Capture Camera Clip. For added support and storage, the optional padded hip belt attaches quickly and adjusts easily. A Rain Fly is also available for full waterproof protection in wet conditions.

The large rear access panel simplifies packing and is perfectly suited for outdoor camera carry, securely fitting one Smedium Camera Cube. Two spacious external stretch pockets hold frequently used items like water bottles, tripods, or jackets, all while keeping a sleek, structured appearance. Additional external storage is made easy with Cord Hook carry cords, elastic gear loops, and 360-degree Cord Rails, allowing for a customizable and secure gear setup. You can also attach Ultralight Packing Cubes for even more modular storage options. The bag is available in black and eclipse colours.

Alongside the launch of the new bags, several accessories are also being released to improve handling and carrying convenience.

The Outdoor Rain Fly provides full waterproof protection for your Peak Design backpack during heavy rain. Made from 50D recycled ripstop nylon with a 2,000mm hydrostatic coating and taped seams, it ensures reliable weather resistance. When not in use, it packs into a breathable mesh pouch that attaches externally to dry out. Comes in 3 sizes that fits every Peak Design Outdoor, Travel, and Everyday Backpack.

The Helmet Carrier is a lightweight, durable harness for securely attaching a bike, ski, or climbing helmet to any Peak Design Outdoor, Travel, or Everyday Backpack. Using the Cord Hook system, it stretches around the helmet and clips to backpack loops for a snug fit. Made from recycled nylon stretch mesh and elastic cord reinforced with UHMWPE thread, it’s both strong and abrasion resistant. Additional features include a reflective safety graphic and a bike light attachment point. When not in use, it packs down small to fit easily into the bag.
