Girl Scouts Celebrate Team Spirit and Friendship at the Phillies Ballpark

Phun at the Phillies!Phun at the Phillies!

On Thursday, August 29th, Girl Scouts and their families gathered to take in the Phillies versus the Atlanta Braves game!  It was a SOLD OUT EVENT.

It was a perfect day for the Girl Scouts of Southern New Jersey to enjoy a baseball game at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Marina, a Brownie from Troop 10707 in Mays Landing, came to the game in hopes of catching a ball. Unfortunately, she didn’t, but she was excited to watch the game in person rather than on TV.

Phun at the Phillies was had by all!

Madison and Evan from Troop 21107 love the Phillies. They came to the game to hang out with their troop because they didn’t see each other that much during the summer. They enjoyed the game and spent quality time together.

Caitlyn from Troop 92764 in Millville said she loves baseball, especially the Phillies, and was glad to be there.

Rylee, a Daisy from Troop 68135 in Woodstown was glad that the Girl Scouts had an opportunity to be at the game and to enjoy it and have fun together. Mckenna from Mt. Laurel (troop 28741) was having fun with her friends and enjoying all the Girl Scouts being together.

It was a good game and a great night for the Phillies.

They beat the Atlanta Braves 5-4.

Gathering at events like the Phillies game offers our Girl Scouts and their families a unique opportunity to bond, have fun, and create cherished memories together. These outings are more than just a day at the ballpark; they provide a chance for our girls to strengthen their friendships, experience new adventures, and feel the joy of being part of a larger community. Such experiences are made possible through the generosity of our dedicated volunteers and donors, whose support ensures that every Girl Scout has the chance to participate in activities that inspire and empower them. Their contributions help create lifelong memories that our girls will carry with them long after the final pitch is thrown.

Thank you.
