Nominees Sought for AAMI Board of Directors

AAMI has launched a search to fill several positions on its Board of Directors and Nominating Committee in 2022.

The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) is seeking nominees for chair-elect, treasurer, and several vice-chair and director positions, as well as two openings on the Board’s Nominating Committee. More information about each of these roles can be found at www.aami.org/leadership.

Interested individuals should be able to demonstrate a depth of experience and dedication to AAMI, according to Steve Campbell, AAMI’s acting president and chief executive officer. All nominations must be received by Dec. 31, 2021.

“Although it’s not a requirement, many Board members have been active in AAMI committees and have made significant contributions of their time and personal resources,” Campbell said. “Employment diversity is also important, since AAMI represents a diverse cross-section of companies, hospitals, individuals and others.”

Nominees should submit a recent CV, a statement outlining their qualifications, and a completed leadership nomination form to Campbell at scampbell@aami.org or send them to his attention at:

AAMI
901 N. Glebe Road
Suite 300
Arlington, VA 22203.

The Nominating Committee will meet in February 2022 to review the submitted documents and make recommendations to the full AAMI membership, which will consider the nominations at its annual Business Meeting during the AAMI eXchange in June 2022.
