Everyone in the sector needs to come together to redefine and reinvigorate our high streets and shopping places. We are therefore delighted to announce that Completely Retail Marketplace (CRMP) and NCSC, the organisation that, for 35 years, has represented the retail property and placemaking sector, are coming together this Autumn to provide a landmark event for the whole industry to reunite.

In 2019, CRMP welcomed over 4,000 delegates to events in London, Stockholm, Madrid and Prague. After a two-year hiatus the 2021 event at The Brewery (Münchenbrygerriet) on 12th October will continue to support the retail market, connecting retail and leisure occupiers and franchise operaters with the industry’s leading landlords, developers and brokers.

NCSC will be running a number of sessions throughout the duration of the day which have been designed to recognise the importance of providing leading insight, sharing knowledge and debating trends and will also tackle key topics. In addition to an evening networking dinner for ticket holders to continue their conversations.

Kajsa Hernell, Managing Director at NCSC (Nordic Council of Shopping Centers) “The timing of CRMP 2021 has never been better: our members can’t wait to gather to discuss collaborations and place making. It is important to offer the Nordic industry a physical meeting place and NCSC is proud to continue working with CRMP. I am very much looking forward to exciting seminars, meeting friends again and of course - the NCSC dinner!”

We will also be joined by Markus Porvari – Founder, President and CEO of Hyper[in] who will be hosting an engaging talk about Connecting the digital and physical consumer journey – including the best practises for tenant and consumer engagement, how to attract footfall in challenging times and how to take advantage of eCommerce.

It wouldn’t be a CRMP event without Soapbox, so of course the sessions will be a returning feature at the 2021 CRMP Nordics event in Stockholm. Sponsored by Popup Agency, a dynamic and innovative retail space agent connecting brands to relevant short term leases, you can be sure to find a roster of exciting and fresh concepts looking to shake up the market on the Soapbox stage. A selection of those confirmed include; F45 Fitness, Dark Edition, Grab and Go Burger, Pantry, GottGott Gruppen and Will & The Elephant.

Peter Scherr, CXO at Popup Agency “Retail is evolving at a rapid pace to embrace the changing needs of consumers and there are a lot of innovative retailers and concepts who see the undeniable value in a physical space to create a brand experience and connect with their customers. That’s why Soapbox is such a good platform for landlords to hear about new ideas and meet the creators first hand to discover opportunities to make their destinations even more attractive to shoppers".

“CRMP is an ideal event to network with the retail and shopping centre industry. I had the opportunity to promote our brand, Giordano, on the Soapbox stage (at the event) and was very impressed with the turnout. The event was well organised and offered a platform for me to connect, learn, share and promote our brand to the Scandinavian market.”

Giordano, Hong Kong-based retailer looking to expand into the Nordics.

Organisers Completely Events will be continuing the event’s longstanding partnerships with leading industry organisations Citycon, Franchise Group, Business Sweden, Stockholm Fashion District, Svensk Franchise and Trade Partners Sweden. Representatives from each partnering company will be on hand at the event to offer advice to retailers either looking to enter the Nordics market or increase their presence.
