Despite tough competition in this year’s NCSC Nordic Awards Finale, the winners have now been selected and the candidate taking home the prize for “Best Shopping Center 2022” is Mall of Tripla in Finland. The winners were announced yesterday, October 27th at Sergel Hub in Stockholm.
Jury Motivation:
”This center has it all – the solid financial KPIs, the sustainability agenda, happy customers, societal integration, award-winning marketing, an interesting variety of tenants, and a pleasant and functional architecture. But what makes the center stand out from the competition, is that this ambitious project has brought retail and entertainment to a place where they didn’t exist before. It creates a new focal point for the area, transforming it from an administrative center to a new vibrant residential and business hub – a unique multifunctional hybrid.
Its accessibility is impeccable, providing access by rail and roads, bikes, and feet. The architectural layout of the center creates a natural customer flow, and the building is well integrated into its surroundings since every floor of the center has its own street-level entrance. And above all, it has great opportunities for developing sales even further. Massive amount of natural customer flows to create a future-proof business platform both for the owners and tenants alike.”
