Equinor invests NOK 4.32 billion in Brazilian solar energy

Equinor has made the final investment decision for the Brazilian solar project Mendubim. Mendubim is located in the state of Rio Grande do Norte and is being developed in cooperation with Scatec and Hydro Rein. The total investment in the project is estimated at approximately USD 430 million, equivalent to NOK 4.32 billion. The three partners each have a 33.3% financial stake in the project and will jointly provide engineering, procurement and construction services.
