Statkraft purchase 43 windparks in Germany and France

Norwegian Statkraft has purchased 43 windparks comprising 203 wind turbines with an annual total installed capacity of 345 MW, which under normal circumstances can produce 523 GWh per annum. 39 of the wind parks, producing 463 GWh annually, are distributed in nine German states, while the remaining 4 wind parks distributed in three French regions produce 60 GWh annually. Statkraft says that the parks have a diminished production capacity given their 13-22 year old age and argues that Statkraft's expertise and qualifications makes them best placed to manage the equipment (Resett, Europower Energi, press release).

Enersense acquires the share capital of Pori Offshore Constructions Ltd

Enersense Works Ltd completed the transaction to acquire the entire share capital of Pori Offshore Constructions Ltd., a company that specialises in offshore wind power and renewable energy. The purchase price will be paid in cash by Enersense, including a basic purchase price of the share capital (EUR 1) and an additional purchase price (EUR 0.5 million). The acquisition will not alter Enersense’s earnings guidance for 2021 and Pori Offshore Constructions will be reported as a part of their Smart Industry segment (press release, press release).
