LA ROQQA Reopens in Porto Ercole for the 2026 Season

LA ROQQA Hotel

Unveiling Newly Renovated Spaces, Wellness Experiences and Growth Plans from Its Parent Brand, Miramis.

Porto Ercole, 2026 – LA ROQQA, the first design-led boutique hotel in Porto Ercole on Tuscany’s southern coast, in the heart of Argentario, unveils new, larger suites and expanded wellness facilities for its 2026 season.

Inspired by 20th-century Italian design classics and created by Palomba Serafini Associati, the hotel remains a contemporary, cosmopolitan retreat with privileged views over the picturesque seaside village.

Following its recent renovation, LA ROQQA now features 47 rooms and suites, reduced from 50 to create more generous, thoughtfully designed spaces with enhanced comfort and flow.

LA ROQQA forms part of Miramis’ wider vision for regional regeneration, with further expansion planned along the Tuscan coast. Upcoming openings from 2027 include La Capitana in the Maremma countryside and Ex-Cirio in Porto Ercole, extending the brand’s presence across both coastal and rural Tuscany.

Gastronomy

With its spring reopening, LA ROQQA reaffirms its position as a refined gateway to Argentario, offering authentic experiences that showcase the charming coastal region.

The hotel’s restaurant, Scirocco, has become a go-to destination for both hotel guests and those staying locally, with an exclusively Tuscan wine list and a selection of Tuscan-influenced cocktails.

Showcasing the delicious tomatoes grown in the region, Scirocco launches a new tomato-inspired cocktail menu this season. Highlights include the Bloody Mar Y 26 and Mare e Datterino, both demonstrating the ingredient’s versatility and served on the rooftop with sweeping views over Argentario.

The restaurant’s terrace has been expanded ahead of the busy season, offering a chic setting for Scirocco’s seasonal dining. Under Cluster Culinary Director Francesco Ferretti, the menu continues to evolve with a strong focus on seasonality and local produce. Vegetables take centre stage through the hotel’s collaboration with L’Orto Giusto.

The programme is further enhanced by immersive farm experiences, a dedicated vegetarian and vegan tasting menu, and a series of four-hands dinners with Villa Petriolo in May and September, celebrating a shared approach to authentic, ingredient-led cuisine.

Wellness

Wellness plays an increasingly central role at LA ROQQA, with the expanded Wellness Suite offering personalised, pre-bookable treatments arranged through the Guest Experience Team.

The offering combines advanced technology with holistic therapies, including cryotherapy with MECOTEC’s cryo: system, pneumatic leg compression using JetBoots Pro Plus compression boots to support muscle recovery and circulation, and light therapy treatments with Omnilux Contour Face devices to stimulate collagen production and promote skin wellness.

The space is designed to support recovery, performance and relaxation.

The Suites

New for this season, the hotel introduces the Ercoletto Junior Sea View Suites, designed to offer families more suite options, space and comfort.

A highlight of the season is the Caravaggio Penthouse, which now features a private outdoor bath with uninterrupted views over Porto Ercole. The penthouse adds to the hotel’s three-bedroom suite offering, which spans five floors.

Isolotto Beach Club

Overlooking the enchanting Argentario peninsula, Isolotto Beach Club is a natural extension of LA ROQQA’s hospitality experience, offering a rare sandy stretch along Argentario’s coastline and the only beach club on the island.

Set amid Mediterranean landscapes and sparkling waters, the chic beach club provides a relaxed yet exclusive setting for days spent unwinding, socialising and enjoying the sea.

The Pieds Sans L’eau restaurant serves fresh, contemporary coastal cuisine focused on local fish and seasonal ingredients, paired with regional wines.

Designed as an experiential destination open to hotel guests and local visitors alike, the beach club has become a new coastal landmark. It offers everything from breakfast to sunset drinks in an authentic Mediterranean setting.

Experience Argentario

LA ROQQA’s experiences are becoming increasingly private and tailor-made, transforming each stay into a more personal journey through Argentario and the surrounding Maremma countryside.

Highlights include Taste & Bloom in Maremma, a curated countryside picnic set among rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves. The experience includes a basket of seasonal local produce and wine, arranged in a setting chosen by the guest.

Guests can also explore the region by sea through the Giannutri Experience and private sailing trips to the island of Giglio, combining unspoilt landscapes with curated dining experiences.

For something more atmospheric, the Starlight Swim Experience offers a tranquil night-time swim beneath the stars.

Designed with a strong connection to its surroundings, the programme also features thoughtful, family-friendly touches, ranging from hands-on cooking experiences and farm visits to playful in-room amenities and dedicated children’s menus.
