8 April 2026, Stockholm – Miramis announces its international expansion and evolution as an emerging hospitality platform encompassing hotels, culinary experiences, entertainment and wellness.

With roots in Sweden and Italy, Miramis focuses on developing hospitality experiences that tell authentic stories of people and place, with an emphasis on local, community-driven initiatives. Its growing portfolio reflects a considered approach to expansion, with a small number of destinations, each developed with depth, purpose and a long-term perspective.

This philosophy is shaping the brand’s growing portfolio, which most imminently includes the transformation of Stockholm’s historic Hotel Hasselbacken, the addition of Gasometer and a new agricultural estate, La Capitana, in Tuscany—anchored by the existing LA ROQQA and Isolotto Beach Club in Argentario.

A Foundation in Place: Miramis and Italian Hospitality

The Miramis journey began in Porto Ercole with LA ROQQA and Isolotto Beach Club, establishing a model in which hospitality, gastronomy and social energy come together in direct dialogue with the surrounding landscape.

A genuine connection and sense of shared discovery run throughout the portfolio. Fittingly, the boutique hotel was born from family memories of summers in Argentario. Mixing contemporary design with 1960s La Dolce Vita inspiration, LA ROQQA sits within its surrounding community with a palette that reflects the characteristic hues of Porto Ercole.

Isolotto Beach Club, meanwhile, has transformed the area’s only sandy stretch of coastline into a gathering place for locals and travellers alike.

Furthering its presence in Italy, Miramis will travel inland to the valleys and hills of Tuscany with La Capitana in 2027. Located in Magliano, this countryside estate will become a defining project for the brand.

Agriculture and cultivation guide the story: the estate fosters olive oil production and winemaking and will host travellers in just 12 carefully designed suites. La Capitana is conceived as a place for slow living, offering an opportunity to embrace local traditions and attune to the rhythm of seasonal change.

Developed with intention, La Capitana will guide the brand towards deeper engagement with the land, craftsmanship and Tuscan traditions. The estate’s architectural vision is led by renowned Italian architect Marco Casamonti, whose approach brings a contemporary sensibility to the rural landscape, grounding the project in both tradition and modernity.

Miramis’ connection to Argentario continues to deepen with the full refurbishment of the tranquil Hotel Torre di Cala Piccola and Ex-Cirio—an urban regeneration project that will come to represent Miramis’ wellness offering in the port.

International Evolution: Crafting the Miramis Landscape in Sweden

Miramis is building a complementary landscape where hospitality and culture intersect in Sweden, beginning with a historic hotel and a landmark venue for live performance in Stockholm.

Gasometer, joining the portfolio in 2027, is a landmark project that defines the scale of the group’s cultural ambition. Conceived as a destination for live performances and immersive formats, Gasometer brings together architecture, music and dining within a single, cohesive environment.

The venue will host the Royal Swedish Opera over the coming years, establishing an immediate connection to Sweden’s cultural institutions while opening new possibilities for contemporary programming. Gasometer represents a significant step in how Miramis approaches large-scale experiences—not as standalone venues, but as fully integrated destinations.

As the culinary lead for Gasometer, acclaimed chef Stefan Eriksson—former co-creator of the internationally recognised Stockholm restaurant Brutalisten and a recipient of Sweden’s Chef of the Year award—will shape a dining concept that reflects the venue’s ambition and international outlook.

Backstage Hotel and Cirkus Arena further extend this direction, reinforcing Stockholm as a key platform for the group’s continued growth.

At the helm will be Stefano Cuoco as Chief Executive Officer, bringing strategic clarity to Miramis’ next phase of growth.
