Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable 2021

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Sweden has the honor to inform you that the 4^th Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable (KGIR 2021) dedicated to the 30-th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held on December 7, 2021 (starting at 3pm, GMT+6) in a hybrid format: online and live in the capital of Kazakhstan – Nur-Sultan.

Selected participants, government officials, senior international business and financial executives, investors, experts, and opinion leaders will be convened in Nur-Sultan
by H.E. Mr. Askar Mamin, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

KGIR 2021 will be organized in partnership with EURONEWS Business to maintain a trusted platform for top executives and decision-makers to come together and explore investment potential of Central Asia’s largest economy as well as new opportunities unlocked by the ongoing shifts on the global scale.

During the plenary session the participants will discuss issues around the main topic of “INVESTMENT IN KAZAKHSTAN: 30 YEARS OF SUCCESS” and learn about the achievements of Kazakhstan in the field of attracting investments, latest developments in the country’s business environment, listen to the experience of major domestic and foreign investors already operating in the country.

The major panel session “GLOBAL ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION: CHALLENGES AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS IN THE POST-PANDEMIC PERIOD” chaired by H.E. Mr. Mukhtar Tileuberdi, the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, will highlight in detail the current trends in the global economy as well as the potential for investment in fast-growing new sectors.
